Since it is our duty as Muslims to bury the deceased as soon as possible after death, our staff are accustomed to making immediate funeral arrangements for burial or overseas / international shipping, usually within 24 hours. Instead of the embalming procedure, we use a bio-seal bag that will preserve your loved ones remains.

Our international shipping service includes:

  • Removing your loved one’s body from place of death and transporting him or her to our local facility.

  • Females are handled by females only.

  • Removals for females are done by females only washing and shrouding of your loved one’s body is done by qualified personnel.

  • Providing a wooden casket with metal inside for shipment is required by all consulates, embassies and airlines.

  • Transporting casketed remains from the funeral home to the Masjid of your choice.

  • Transporting casketed remains from the Masjid to the airport.

  • Consulate/Embassy approval and documents for shipment.

Preparing the Body for Transport

Be aware that some states require that the body be embalmed before it leave or enter the state. In addition, some states require that a body be embalmed if it will be transported via “common carrier,” such as an airplane, train, commercial bus, or trucking line.

If your religion has prohibitions against embalming, it’s a good idea to speak with your local religious leader to get a sense of how your community feels about this issue
